The Long Ridge Fire Company is a 501(c)(3) combination department providing fire suppression and rescue efforts 24/7/365 since 1928.
The LRFC is proud to say it has been serving the North Stamford community for over 90 years. We truly are “neighbors helping neighbors”.

Our mission is to provide fire, medical and other emergency services for the residents of our district and vicinity and ultimately preserve life and property. We also provide service to surrounding districts where we have mutual aid agreements.
We maintain two fire stations, with our main station located at 366 Old Long Ridge Road in Stamford, CT. Over 3,500 homes and businesses are located in our district, which covers a land area of 14 square miles and a population over 7,500 people. There are 359,890 feet of roads in the district (or 68 miles).
Please see a map of North Stamford below. The LRFC district is within this area. A district map will be uploaded soon!

We are volunteers, but we are also friends, neighbors and family. We give our time freely and generously to protect you and those you love. We’re only a phone call away; just dial 9-1-1 in any fire or emergency. 35 volunteer firefighters, 8 paid staff, and 6 vehicles are standing by to meet your next emergency.
We’re always looking for volunteers. If you think you would like to become a member, call us at 203-322-5200, or stop by the firehouse.
